UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Freedom Equine Centre

Freedom Equine Centre was born out of a passion for both horses and people. Set in 45 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside we offer experiences for both the individual and small groups. Equine Assisted Therapy has been recognised as having a positive affect on conditions such as Autism, anxiety and depression issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or other behaviours affecting health and wellbeing. Our sessions encourage personal growth in self confidence and self esteem. We work with clients of all ages and all abilities and offer a bespoke service designed around your needs.

We also offer Equine Assisted Learning for students who may be struggling with mainstream education, allowing the young learners to gain knowledge in animal husbandry and prepare them for a future in the workplace.

About

Horses are very much like humans in that they are social beings. They have defined roles within the herd, and also rest, eat and care for each other.

We are committed to working with children and adults with additional needs and embrace the uniqueness of each individual client.

“At Freedom Equine Centre the emphasis is on experiential learning.  Equine Assisted Learning combines my love of horses and a passion to see people fulfil their potential, whatever their challenges. Children and adults who struggle with behavioural issues, emotional issues or have special educational needs can flourish in a safe, encouraging and inspiring environment.”

Dawn Roberts, Founder, Freedom Equine Centre
